Are you an automotive professional, ideally having practical workshop experience and an understanding of warranty?
As a Technical Advisor with the MSXI Global group, you will have the opportunity to work in a busy warranty department as part of a small dedicated team providing Warranty Support for our automotive partner, a leading global car manufacturer based in Brentwood Essex.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience of workshop procedures, an understanding of warranty and be passionate about problem solving and providing excellent customer service to our partner’s dealer network.
The successful candidate will be an automotive professional, with the confidence to interact with multi discipline departments such as Engineering, Technical Services and Customer Relations. Whilst full training will be provided, the successful candidate will apply their technical and warranty experience in assessing and responding appropriately and accurately to queries from our partner’s dealer network.
As a Technical Advisor you will be required to succeed at the following tasks:
Handle incoming dealer telephone calls and emails
Technically assess dealer queries relating to warranty coverage
Clarify warranty coverage, policies and procedures
Review warranty claims to ensure correct parts and labour schedules are used
Assess and approve repairs outside of standard warranty terms
Administer the setting up of AA roadside assistance cover
Skills / Experience Required:
Knowledge of technical / mechanical operations
Understanding of warranty processes, policies and procedures
Experience of aftersales operations and processes
Computer literate, particularly MS Office
Ability to liaise and interact at all levels within the dealer network
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative and highly motivated
Enthusiastic, flexible and proactive personality
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for the clients brand
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (typically 7.30am -3.45pm however as the phones must be covered until 4.45pm there is a rota whereby one person works 8.30am-4.45pm each day)
