As a Marketing Specialist with the MSXI Global group, you will have the opportunity to work in a team to deliver first class marketing material for our automotive partner, a leading car manufacturer based in Essex.

The ideal candidate will enjoy developing materials to help launch and promote the sale of leading vehicle accessories for the latest and existing models, bringing together multiple brand cultures and ensuring delivery to a high standard.

The Marketing Specialist will work within a team of three, reporting to the Accessories & Quality Manager, and be responsible for the marketing for Ford Accessories to various audiences.

 

More about the role:

The Accessories Marketing business unit is responsible for the all marketing activity to support annual sales of approx. £20m of Ford parts. The key accessories activities include developing marketing programmes for the dealer network and consumer, co-ordinating the supplier branded accessories programme and managing the accessories content in vehicle brochures. E-commerce represents a significant growth opportunity. This role is pivotal to the business unit hitting its objectives in this area.

 

The aim of the Marketing Specialist is to improve sales and profitability of Ford accessories whilst identifying additional accessories opportunities, evaluate the business case and work with suppliers / European Accessories Marketing to bring accessories to market

  • Act as subject matter expert for accessory product queries, liaising with dealers, the field team, Product Marketing team, European Accessories Marketing team, Technical Services and Parts Distribution Centre
  • Act as main point of contact with current/future suppliers for supplier-branded accessories, to identify product / marketing / sales opportunities
  • Support accessories e-commerce programmes to maximise sales, with responsibility for maintaining the UK accessories content in ford.co.uk, Build and Price and the Ford approved used vehicle website
  • Support the development of communication materials (i.e. image accuracy)
  • Ensure Ford dealers have the right product support materials and sales tools to support accessory sales
  • Leverage the launch of new model launches to increase sales of accessories  
  • Support the pricing of accessories to ensure that we maximise sales and profitability
  • Work with Henry Ford Academy to ensure that accessories are integrated into dealer training courses
  • Provide insight into the accessory competition to identify best practice

 

Candidate Specifications:

  • A strong knowledge of Passenger Cars and/or Commercial Vehicles would be beneficial, however not essential
  • Proven understanding of marketing principles essential
  • Previous e-commerce experience beneficial
  • Previous experience of marketing agency relationships an advantage
  • Attention to detail essential and strong business mind-set
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities

 

Working Pattern and location:

  • 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
  • Based in Dunton, Essex
